为进一步强化新区水务局水政执法队伍能力建设，推进水政监察工作再上新台阶，新区水务局组织召开会议，传达学习2023年广东省水政监察工作要点。 会议强调，要深入学习宣传贯彻党的二十大精神，全面学习掌握2023年广东省水政监察工作要点，充分发挥党建引领，要明确工作职责，加强部门之间协作联动，切实保障监管执法顺畅衔接，确保涉水违法问题得到及时、有效处置。进一步加大执法力度，紧盯案件多发重点地区和敏感水域。要加强队伍建设，在职权范围内做好业务培训和指导，强化人才综合能力素质提升，不断促进水政执法队伍建设。 会议要求，新区水务局全体执法员要认清任务形势，高度重视做好2023年水政监察工作，要紧紧围绕任务重点，服务大局，主动作为，真抓实干，提升执法效能，提高执法水平，以高质量水政执法为新区高质量发展提供坚强法治保障。
