近期，深圳市水务局联合新区开展党建引领治水、深入开展调查研究活动。调研组一行先后调研葵涌水质净化厂相关设施建设、坝光水质净化厂建设推进情况，调研组参观坝光展厅后，召开会议专题研究新区水污染治理推进有关情况。 近年来，新区充分发挥好党建引领作用，调动各方积极性，深圳市和新区齐心协力共同攻坚治水重点难点，深入开展水污染治理工作，全面开展雨污分流全覆盖工程建设，加快推进重点区域污水处理设施建设，推动污水处理提质增效，取得了较好成效，河流水质全市领先。 下一步，新区将进一步发挥河流水质优势，在深圳市水务局的精心指导下，积极推进污水管网建设、总口拆除、暗涵整治等工作，推动河流水环境再上新台阶，为新区奋力打造“绿水青山就是金山银山”实践创新标杆打下坚实基础。
