5月21日上午，市水务局河湖工作处党支部组织开展走读河湖—探寻新洲河畔“红树精灵”活动，此次活动共吸引小朋友和家长共计80余人参加。 活动中，大家边走边看边听边讨论，用脚步丈量新洲红树碧道，亲身感受新洲河水环境的改善，用心听取专业老师讲解，详细了解新洲河的治水历程，并围绕河道管理工作积极的建言献策；随后，大家通过参观红树林生态公园及科普展馆，彩绘“红树精灵”等形式，深入了解良好环境对“红树精灵”生存的重要意义。 走读河湖—探寻新洲河畔“红树精灵”活动，将科普和研学延展到河边，在享受河道之美、近距离接触“红树精灵”的同时，增强大家爱水护水的责任感和使命感，得到小朋友和家长的一致赞许，纷纷表示期待更多类似的精彩活动。（河湖工作处）
