新修订的《中华人民共和国突发事件应对法》，已由中华人民共和国第十四届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第十次会议于2024年6月28日修订通过，自11月1日起施行。 突发事件应对法共八章，包括总则、管理与指挥体制、预防与应急准备、监测与预警、应急处置与救援、事后恢复与重建、法律责任、附则。 突发事件应对法是突发事件应对领域的基础性、综合性法律。这次全面修订是应急管理法治建设进程中具有里程碑意义的一件大事，将为应急管理事业高质量发展提供有力法治保障。
