据气象部门监测预报，5月9-10日我市将有一次中到大雨局部暴雨过程，主要落区为我市中北部（面上雨量40-60毫米，局部100毫米左右），强降水相对集中时段为9日夜间到10日夜间，局地雨势较大；雷雨时伴有8-9级雷雨大风。 根据《汕尾市防汛防旱防风防冻应急预案》有关规定，汕尾市防汛防旱防风指挥部决定于5月9日12时启动防汛Ⅳ级应急响应。各地各部门要加强会商研判，及时启动应急响应，落实各项防御措施，全力以赴确保人民群众生命财产安全，最大程度降低灾害损失。 汕尾市防汛防旱防风指挥部 2025年5月9日
