4月13日，据外交部网站消息，外交部发言人宣布：应土库曼斯坦方面邀请，中共中央政治局常委、国务院副总理丁薛祥将于4月15日至17日访问土库曼斯坦，作为习近平主席特别代表出席复兴气田四期项目开工仪式。访土期间，丁薛祥副总理作为中土合作委员会中方主席，将同土方共同主持召开委员会第七次会议。
