China Coast Guard Conducts Emergency Rescue of Taiwanese Fishing Vessel in Diaoyu Islands Waters

On April 16, a Taiwanese fishing vessel caught fire northeast of Huangwei Islet, and China Coast Guard vessels on patrol extinguished the fire and rescued 6 of the 7 crew members. The Coast Guard reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the safety of Chinese fishermen, including those from Taiwan, and maintaining order in the relevant waters.
