2015年9月9日，深圳市民政局对深圳市宠物医疗协会（登记号：00820）作出警告的行政处罚（深民罚字【2015】第032号）。 经查，深圳市宠物医疗协会存在以下问题：1、财务管理不符合民间非营利组织会计制度要求，财务管理制度沿用企业会计制度，财务报表采用企业会计制度编制科目，且财务报表不完整，没有关于财务开支的任何会议纪要，与业务活动合作方深圳市皇家宠物医院（会长单位）之间未见合同和发票，却存在往来款项；2、未建立和严格执行信息公开制度；3、未建立诚信和自律建设制度。违反了《深圳经济特区行业协会条例》第三十九条、第四十条、第三十六条的规定，依据《深圳经济特区行业协会条例》第六十八条第一款第（三）项的规定，深圳市民政局给予深圳市宠物医疗协会警告的行政处罚，并责令改正违法违规行为。
