Notice on Prohibiting Electric Bicycles and Other Non-Motor Vehicles Equipped with Power Devices from Using Roads
关于电动自行车和其他安装有动力装置的非机动车不准上道路行驶的通告
This notice prohibits electric bicycles and other non-motor vehicles equipped with power devices (excluding mobility scooters for persons with disabilities) from using roads within the administrative area of Guangzhou City, with violations to be handled by traffic police. The measure is effective for five years from the date of issuance.

穗府〔2011〕23号关于电动自行车和其他安装有动力装置的非机动车不准上道路行驶的通告根据《中华人民共和国道路交通安全法》和《广东省道路交通安全条例》的有关规定，广州市行政区域内(含从化市和增城市)继续实施不准电动自行车和其他安装有动力装置的非机动车(残疾人机动轮椅车除外)上道路行驶的措施。 违反本通告的，由公安机关交通管理部门依法予以处理。本通告自发布之日起施行，有效期5年。 广州市人民政府2011年11月3日 公开方式：主动公开
