1月7日上午，市七届人大一次会议主席团举行第二次会议。大会主席团常务主席、市委书记、市人大常委会主任王胜主持会议。 大会主席团成员共54人，出席本次会议的有53人，符合法定人数。 会上，市委向大会主席团推荐各项职务候选人；决定将大会选举和通过各项职务候选人人选名单草案交各代表团酝酿；决定代表书面联名提出大会选举候选人截止时间。
