13日下午，中央统战部九局局长刘春锋率领调研组到我市就新时代侨务工作进行调研。 调研组一行实地参观了市博物馆、揭阳学宫，了解揭阳历史沿革与文化脉络、传统民俗、红色文化与古民居建筑。详细了解揭阳侨情、开展新时代侨务工作情况，高度称赞揭阳历史底蕴深厚，侨务资源丰富。调研组指出，揭阳是著名侨乡，要积极发挥侨乡资源优势，“以侨为桥”拓展新路径，凝聚侨心侨力侨智，积极弘扬侨乡文化，讲好中国故事、揭阳故事，进一步做好揭阳新时代侨务工作，助力揭阳经济社会高质量发展。 省委统战部一级巡视员蔡伟生，市委常委、统战部部长姚丽璇等参加活动。
