2018年5月17日，李勇主任主持召开新区管委会二〇一八年第十次常务会议。 会议审议并原则通过《大鹏新区重大项目管理办法》（以下简称《管理办法》）。会议认为，《管理办法》是对试行文件的进一步提升优化，符合新区实际，适应新区当前经济社会发展，是政府规范行政的需要，制定该规范性文件非常有必要。会议要求，各相关部门、各办事处要严格按照《管理办法》的工作流程做好重大项目的实施、推进，并加强与上级主管部门对有关规范性文件的沟通衔接，确保工作的一致性。 会议还审议了其他事项。
