2019年8月29日，新区管委会主任双德会主持召开新区管委会二〇一九年第十七次常务会议。 会议听取了新区发展和财政局《关于“十四五”规划编制工作进展情况的汇报》。会议要求，要高度重视，深刻认识实施“十四五”规划的重大意义。新区各单位要深刻领会习近平总书记关于“规划科学是最大的效益，规划失误是最大的浪费，规划折腾是最大忌讳”指示精神，结合《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》和《关于支持深圳建设中国特色社会主义先行示范区的意见》等重要文件实施，梳理本单位“十四五”重点工作，做好前期规划，打基础、利长远。 会议还审议了其他事项。
