2018年8月8日，李勇主任主持召开新区管委会二〇一八年第十七次常务会议。 会议审议并原则通过了《大鹏新区提高管道天然气点火率补贴办法》。会议认为，老旧住宅区和城中村管道天然气普及工作是一项民生工程，有利于减轻居民负担。会议要求，由新区城市建设局按程序审签后，以该局名义印发，并牵头抓好跟进落实，切实把惠民好事办好。 会议还审议了其他事项。
