2018年9月27日，王京东同志主持召开新区管委会二〇一八年第二十一次常务会议。 会议通报了《深圳市2018年上半年绩效评估情况报告》。会议指出，绩效管理是推动工作落实的重要方法和手段，从整体上反映了一个地区、一个单位的工作水平、工作质量和工作效率。从通报的情况看，新区还存在不少短板和不足，各单位要高度重视，坚持问题导向，对照上半年绩效评估情况，进一步推动各项工作落实。会议要求，要切实利用好绩效考核这一工作抓手，鼓励先进、激发干劲，对在市绩效考核中成绩优异，特别是今年上半年较往年成绩进步幅度较大的单位要给予肯定和表扬。 会议还审议了其他事项。
