2021年1月14日，新区管委会主任刘广阳主持召开新区管委会二〇二一年第一次常务会议。 会议审议并原则通过了《新区综合办公室关于提请审议〈2021年大鹏新区民生实事（送审稿）〉的请示》。会议指出，“为政之道，民生为本”，做好民生实事是践行党的宗旨意识和群众路线的重要内容。会议要求，新区各级各部门要提高认识，目标导向、问题导向、结果导向，实事求是，统筹推进，确保把各项实事落地见效，增进新区民生福祉。 会议还审议了其他事项。
