8月26日，市委副书记、市长余金富主持召开八届市政府第116次常务会议，研究并审议一批文件和事项。 与会人员会前学习了《阳江市水上安全管理办法》（以下简称《办法》）。会议强调，各级各部门要充分认识《办法》出台的重要意义，全面把握《办法》明确的责任分工，进一步加强水上安全管理、维护水上秩序，保障人民群众生命财产安全。要压紧压实工作责任，持续加强“人、船、水、港、岸”等五大领域的安全管理，完善工作联动机制，强化科技赋能，做到严格执法与公正司法并重，推动《办法》从“纸面”走向“实践”。要聚焦渔民船工、海上风电企业、外地旅客等关键群体及学生开展《办法》的宣传教育，创新宣传方式提高社会各界对《办法》的知晓度和关注度，营造人人参与、人人监督的良好氛围。
