Researchers at Tsinghua University have built the world's first high-throughput dual-view live-cell light-sheet microscope and captured the continuous development of pre-implantation embryos over five days, identifying chromosomal segregation errors and endoplasmic reticulum stress as the two core causes of embryo developmental arrest.
