6月16日17时06分，在青海海西州直辖区（北纬37.80度，东经95.56度）发生6.3级地震。

记者从大柴旦6.3级地震抗震救灾现场指挥部了解到，地震发生后，经过两轮次人员排查，截止到16日23时，此次地震已造成1人遇难8人受伤（均为轻伤已全部出院）。
