Official Reply on the Establishment of China International Steel Investment Company

This document approves the establishment of the China International Steel Investment Company, which will be jointly led by the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, primarily responsible for raising foreign funds, introducing technology and equipment, and organizing import substitution to increase steel production capacity by 10 million tons.
