This document approves the national standard GB/T50493-2019 for combustible gas and toxic gas detection and alarm design in the petrochemical industry, effective from January 1, 2020, and simultaneously abolishes the previous standard GB50493-2009.

住房和城乡建设部关于发布国家标准<br> 《石油化工可燃气体和有毒气体检测报警设计标准》的公告<br> 公告2019年第257号<br> 现批准《石油化工可燃气体和有毒气体检测报警设计标准》为国家标准，编号为GB/T50493-2019，自2020年1月1日起实施。原国家标准《石油化工可燃气体和有毒气体检测报警设计规范》（GB50493—2009）同时废止。<br> 本标准在住房和城乡建设部门户网站公开，并由住房和城乡建设部标准定额研究所组织中国计划出版社出版发行。<br> 中华人民共和国住房和城乡建设部<br> 2019年9月25日
