Chinese scientists have developed a novel perovskite-organic tandem solar cell with a steady-state photoelectric conversion efficiency of 28.04%, setting a new world record. The cell retains 90% of its initial efficiency after 625 hours of continuous illumination, showing promise for applications in buildings, transportation, wearables, and space missions.
