China Accelerates Standard-Setting for Frontier Technologies Such as Intelligent Agents

The State Administration for Market Regulation, in coordination with relevant departments, is accelerating the development of national standards for frontier technologies including intelligent agents, embodied intelligence, world models, and ontology models, as well as foundational standards for computing infrastructure, high-quality datasets, and simulation testing platforms. The effort aims to dynamically improve the AI national standards matrix and shift from passive adaptation to active guidance of industrial innovation.
