Announcement of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation on VAT Policies to Support the Opening of the Commodity Futures Market

This document temporarily exempts value-added tax (VAT) on bonded delivery transactions of commodity futures varieties approved by the State Council for foreign opening, effective until December 31, 2027. It also clarifies that actual imported or exported goods in such transactions follow existing import/export tax policies, while non-bonded goods physical delivery remains subject to previous regulations.
