2021年5月27日，新区管委会主任刘广阳主持召开新区管委会二〇二一年第八次常务会议。 会议听取了新区2021年第一季度临时用地项目汇总情况的报告。会议要求，新区规划土地监察局要加大力度，督促相关企业及时缴纳土地使用相关费用。同时，主动服务，提前介入轨道交通等重点项目，指导项目方做好临时用地申报相关工作。 会议审议通过了《市规划和自然资源局大鹏管理局关于提请审议2项建设项目用地及1项农转用实施方案的请示》。会议要求，市规划和自然资源局大鹏管理局要按程序完善后续手续。
