1月20日上午11:12，东江水源工程盐田泵站正式通水运行，清澈的东江水源源不断流向盐田港水厂，流入盐田片区千家万户。 据了解，东江水源工程盐田支线工程是为解决盐田区近远期用水需求，保障盐田区社会经济和谐发展的重大民生工程，于2019年底建成，引水规模为21万m³\/d。盐田泵站的正式开机运行，进一步增强了东江水源工程服务全市的能力，为深圳建设中国特色社会主义先行示范区提供了更加坚实的水资源保障。 通水当天，市东江水源工程管理处、盐田区水务局、市水务集团以及相关建设、监理单位负责人参加了泵站开机仪式。（市东江水源工程管理处 黎福泉）
