2025年12月31日上午，市七届人大七次会议闭幕后，举行新当选国家工作人员向宪法宣誓仪式。市委书记、市人大常委会主任曾风保主持宣誓仪式。新当选的揭阳市人民政府市长曲晓杰向宪法宣誓。 根据有关规定，市人大及其常委会选举或者决定任命的国家工作人员，依照法定程序产生后进行宪法宣誓。宣誓仪式现场，新当选的揭阳市人民政府市长曲晓杰面向国徽，举起右拳，向宪法庄严宣誓。 市七届人大常委会组成人员参加了宣誓仪式。
