Notice on Extending the Grace Period for Use of Unregistered Motorcycles and Mopeds in Urban Areas

This notice extends the grace period during which unregistered motorcycles and mopeds may operate in Huizhou city's urban roads until August 31, 2010, after which they will be prohibited. It also states the government will continue to research and adjust regulations for these vehicles.

关于延长市区未登记摩托车轻便摩托车使用过渡期的通告惠府〔2009〕138号 为做好市区摩托车轻便摩托车电动自行车管理工作，确保2009年7月27日市政府《关于加强市区摩托车轻便摩托车电动自行车管理的通告》（惠府〔2009〕124号）顺利实施，市政府决定延长《关于加强市区摩托车轻便摩托车电动自行车管理的通告》第八条规定的过渡期。现将有关事项通告如下： 一、《关于加强市区摩托车轻便摩托车电动自行车管理的通告》第八条规定的未经公安机关交通管理部门登记的摩托车、轻便摩托车禁止在市区道路上行驶的过渡期延长至2010年8月31日，自2010年9月1日起禁止在市区道路上行驶。 二、市政府将继续对市区摩托车、轻便摩托车、电动自行车管理情况进行调研，结合实际进一步调整和完善有关规定。 特此通告。 惠州市人民政府二○○九年八月三十一日
