This announcement confirms that the Protocol amending the China-Sweden double taxation agreement has entered into force on April 4, 2018, and applies to income derived on or after June 1, 2016. The text of the Protocol has been published on the State Taxation Administration website.

《关于修订1986年5月16日在斯德哥尔摩签署的〈中华人民共和国政府和瑞典王国政府关于对所得避免双重征税和防止偷漏税的协定〉及1999年11月18日在斯德哥尔摩签署的修订协定的附加议定书的议定书》（以下简称《议定书》）于2017年6月5日在斯德哥尔摩正式签署。中瑞双方已完成《议定书》生效所必需的各自国内法律程序。按照《议定书》第二条第二款规定，《议定书》于2018年4月4日生效，适用于2016年6月1日或以后取得的收入。　　《议定书》文本已在国家税务总局网站发布。　　特此公告。<br> 国家税务总局2018年6月5日
