This announcement confirms that the bilateral tax treaty and protocol between China and Cambodia have entered into force as of January 26, 2018, and will apply to income derived on or after January 1, 2019. It also clarifies that Cambodian law no longer conflicts with the information exchange provisions of the agreement.

《中华人民共和国政府和柬埔寨王国政府对所得避免双重征税和防止逃避税的协定》（以下简称《协定》）及议定书于2016年10月13日在金边正式签署。中柬双方已完成《协定》及议定书生效所必需的各自国内法律程序。《协定》及议定书于2018年1月26日生效，适用于2019年1月1日及以后取得的所得。　　关于议定书第四条所提及的《协定》第二十六条（信息交换）第四款、第五款规定，柬埔寨法律不再与上述规定冲突，上述规定应构成《协定》第二十六条的组成部分。　　《协定》及议定书文本已在国家税务总局网站发布。　　特此公告。<br> 2018年4月27日
