This report covers a State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Qiang. The meeting deployed an action for the protection and construction of beautiful rivers and lakes, studied measures to strengthen welfare for children in difficulty, discussed the draft Medical Security Law of the People's Republic of China, and approved nuclear power projects including the Sanmen Phase III in Zhejiang.
